RN -LABOR AND DELIVERY

Location: Thief River Falls, Minnesota

Description: The Judge Group is currently interviewing RN -LABOR AND DELIVERY right now, this vacancy will be delegated in Minnesota. Judge Healthcare is actively seeking (2) RN’s for excellent 13 week roles in the Thief River Falls, MN area. Positions are open due to increased census. 1 needed! for night shift and 1 needed for day shift.

1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.

Work Labor & Delivery, Post partum, the nursery, med/surg, and after hours PAR for C-sections

2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)

Omnicell, CPSI, Centricity

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.

2 years

4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)

Every 3rd weekend, rotating 12 hour day and 12 hour night shifts (may also have some 8 hour shifts)

6. Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)

We are a 25 bed critical access hospital, so there is only 1 acute unit plus E! R

7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept .
25 bed critical access hospital

8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)

dependent on patient type: 1 to 3 couplet acres, 1 on1 end stage labor, 1 to 1-2 in isolette, 1:4-5 med/surg

9. Dress Code:
navy scrubs

1 day in OB, 1 day in Med/surg
