Litigation Specialist Duties: Will be responsible for achieving and exceeding new business and revenue quotas for the company's l! itigation portfolio of products including CaseMap, Concordance, Law Pre-discovery within defined territory. Responsible for developing, managing and executing against an account plan to drive adoption of our litigation portfolio as well as prospecting and securing new business. Work closely with extended sales teams to drive new business and upsell/retain existing customer base. Serve as litigation thought leader in the assigned territory and occasionally speak on panels and present at company's events, as well as customer events. Develops strong relationships with key decision makers in targeted accounts (i.e. Litigation Department Chair, Practice Area Department Heads, Litigation Support Manager, Practice Support Managers, Corp Legal and Compliance Depts) and leverages said relationships to achieve business objectives. Generates leads through consistent cold calling, has ability to qualify leads, probes customers for relevant information critical to moving the deal forwar! d, meaningfully demonstrates products to customers, negotiates! and closes litigation contracts. Communicates firm knowledge back to the greater account team and works well with teams. Utilizes and reinforces all required processes, tools and systems including Total Source. Can work at a fast pace, is self-motivated, manages time well and is productive. Performs additional duties as required.
Requirements: BA or BS degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. J.D. degree is strongly preferred. 5+ years of sales experience with complex solutions or litigation experience. Solid understanding of litigation lifecycle. Strong business acumen to have command and control over business portfolio. Possesses strong presentation skills and can effectively communicate the value of litigation portfolio telephonically. Ability to leverage resources as appropriate. Ability to speak intelligently with customers about case strategy, core litigation tasks, and challenges customers face in litigation. Proven ability to s! uccessfully negotiate enterprise-wide contracts. Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to interact with C level executives and key decision makers. Demonstrated ability to successfully probe for data or clues that will allow for effective problem resolution. Ability to work cooperatively within a team and across the organization matrix to achieve group and organizational business objectives. Ability to build strong, enduring relationships to establish a network of individuals who can provide information, help or access to others. Demonstrated ability to drive deals to close including overcoming obstacles to improve business results and performance levels to increase LN footprint in customer organizations. May require local or overnight travel.
