Haldeman-Homme, Inc is looking for a professional, motivated, and dependable Credit Manager to oversee its fast-paced Credit and Accounts Receivable Department. Job Descripti! on: Overall credit, accounts receivable, and billing manag! ement for Haldeman-Homme, Inc. and its five subsidiaries. Evaluate and manage company credit policies and procedures. Analyze customers for credit worthiness, establish customer lines of credit, and monitor customers' credit risk. Manage the company's accounts receivable function including billing, collections, and cash application. Reconcile monthly bank statements, deposits, credit card payments, and refunds. Track mechanic's lien and payment bond time frames. File mechanic's liens and upon payment bonds when needed. Submit and manage collection claims to attorneys for litigation, collection firms, and conciliation court on smaller balances. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Familiar with credit reporting systems• Minimum 3 years of credit management experience.• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial collecting experience. Preferred experience within the construction or construction supply industries.• Working knowledge of Lien and Bond laws.• Well vers! ed in Construction Laws.• Adept at conciliation court filing procedures.• Possess excellent communication abilities with sales and management.• Ability to effectively time manage, prioritize, and make quick decisions.
