For complete informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. In this role, the individual will be a member of the Siemens Industry, Inc. (SII) Legal Department reporting to the General Counsel of SII, and will be the Lead Counsel for Low-Medium Vol! tage (LMV) Division of SII headquartered in Norcross, Georgia. The individual will be responsible for managing the attorney and contract analyst staff assigned to the LMV Division. Specifically, this position is responsible for the drafting, review and negotiation of complex commercial contracts largely with private sector customers, partners, suppliers and vendors in the United States, as well as any disputes associated therewith.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Devise strategies to ensure proactive, efficient and productive counseling of LMV.
- Develop Division-based policies with respect to legal concerns impacting LMV.
- Adopt and implement within LMV Circulars/policies issued by Siemens AG and SII.
- Set and manage the LMV Legal budget.
- Collaborate with other SII Lead Counsel to ensure consistent SII-wide approach to legal issues as required.
- Collaborate with Siemens AG LMV attorneys to ensure consistent ! approach to LMV global legal issues as required.
- Lead! the LMV Legal team to successful integration as key strategic advisers to LMV Senior Management.
- Manage Draft and negotiate consortium, sales, maintenance, and subcontractor agreements for large and complex Projects.
- Coordinate SII LMV’s implementation of global frame agreements with Siemens AG’s LMV Global Agreements Group and assigned Siemens AG counsel by means of commercial agreements such as Adoption Agreements.
- Review Requests for Proposals and provide comments for projects related to the low-medium voltage industry.
- Advise Senior Management on a wide array of legal and compliance issues, including employment, risk management, Buy America, antitrust, and arms length and permanent establishment principles.
- Manage and resolve disputes with public and private sector customers, partners and subcontractors.
- Develop and present compliance and other training to LMV employees.

- Work with LMV’s compliance and contract management functions.
o 10+ years of demonstrated legal experience in a transactional environment in a law firm or similar environment, with preferred additional experience in a corporate in-house position.
o Demonstrated drafting and negotiation experience.
o Well developed communications skills; able to clearly and concisely express technical information (or data) to non technical associates, peers and management.
o Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
o Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
o The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward.
o Excellent writing, presentation meeting facilitation skills.
o Ability and willingness for potential ! of 25% international and domestic travel.
DESIRED SKILLS AN! D COMPETENCIES:
o Experience with software licensing agreements as well as product, service and construction contracts.
o Knowledge of legal issues
oIndustries knowledge: Familiarity with mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnering agreements.
Qualifications:
- JD required and must be admitted/licensed to practice law in one or more states.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience ideally with both an in house legal department and a law firm.
