Founded by an expert in early childhood education, Education Management Agency offers progressive independent study programs (homeschool) to kids Preschool through High School age.
We coordinate the independent study program for families seeking an alternative to traditional schooling. We currently have a family in need of a Mentor to their 6th grade child. The Mentor may serve dual roles as a Personal Assistant to the family as well. This position is for an exciting, intellectual, passionate person, who has a talent for teaching, and wants to be part of mentoring students who will no doubt be visionaries of the future. The ideal candidates would also have excellent communication and organizational skills, and work well with the team. This position is in the greater Los Angeles area and may include travel both domestically and internationally as well as some overnight stays in Los Angeles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with children
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Able to drive in Los Angeles
- Flexibility is key

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Mentor is responsible for the day-to-day well-being of the child which may include packing school lunch, liase with teachers, and providing extra curricular activities.
COMPENSATION:

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
