The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in organic chemistry; a background/degree in synthetic organic chemistry is preferred, but not required. Candidates with a masters degree may apply; however, masters candidates who do not also possess a Ph.D.
will als! o need an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, three ! years experience working as a chemist at a corporation or research institution, and/or at least two academic publications. Some legal experience in a law firm or corporate setting is also preferred. Work will consist mainly of patent preparation and prosecution. A law degree from a top school and superior academic credentials are required. Must have a minimum of one (solid) year of patent work experience.
