Bay West, Inc. is seeking a hardworking and safety conscious Industrial Services Field Technician to work part-time with hours worked ranging from 20 - 30 ! hours weekly. This position has the potential to become full time in the future if the hired candidate can be flexible with their schedule. The primary duties will include industrial cleaning during evening shifts between the hours of 3pm-10pm at a customer's location. Additional hours may be available during day shifts in other departments at Bay West. The perfect candidate will be an independent thinker and self-starter who communicates well with our customers and Bay West project managers. DUTIES

• Must have a flexible schedule for changes in schedule and additional projects.
• Must have good interpersonal skills
• Must be a! ble to lift 50 pounds and have no fear of heights (climbing ladders or stairs)
• Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals: detergents, solvents, and isopropanol
• Must be able to perform random cleaning activities: buffing, mopping, vacuuming,

pressure washing, etc.

• Must be able to deep clean production equipment: Robots, conveyors, walls, floors,

structures, etc.

• Must be comfortable and able to work while wearing Level B Personal Protective Equipment which includes a full face respirator and air pack (SCBA).
• Must be able to maintain work area to ensure it is in clean, neat and an orderly condition
• Must be able to lift, stack and unstack materials and equipment
• Must be able to perform other duties as directed
• Must be able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Must be able to enjoy practical and manual activities, be good with hands, able to judge distan! ces, be safety conscience, self-motivated and have good communication skills with co-workers and customers.

Additional Responsibilities Potentially Available Include:

• As-needed, assists with household hazardous waste (HHW) duties include accepting, documenting, sorting, packaging, and arranging for disposal of household hazardous waste, greeting HHW customers, determining their needs, and answering HHW questions.
• As-needed, assists in emergency response (ER) activities including determining ER equipment needs, loading ER equipment, and performing clean-up activities (including 1 week of 24-7 on-call every 5 weeks).

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Completed 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certification and or up to date on 8 hour refresher
2. Possess or have access to reliable means of transportation on a 24 hour basis
