Ontrack is looking for a talented Product Launch Manager to join the Product
Development Team! In this role, you will
play a c! ritical role in our product launch process, conducting a wide variety
of Project Management activities across multiple internal groups to accomplish
internal and external product releases.
You will serve as the liaison between technical and non-technical
departments in order to ensure that the business is prepared for both internal
and external product launches. If you like working in a technology-driven, high energy,

you will:

Develop and successfully execute launch plans
for new products and product releases â€" both inside Kroll Ontrack and to our
marketplace. To be effective, you will need to possess a combination of strong
communication skills, project/program management, consensus building, and an
ability to coordinate resources from a variety of supporting teams.
Partner with team members in Product
Management,! Software Development, Marketing, Legal, Sales, Operations and
Client Services to manage tactical projects of varying complexity or component
projects of programs with moderate scope, budget, and teams. A typical workload
will require actively managing 2-4 projects at any given time based on project
scope and magnitude.
In addition, you will:

Manage all elements of the product launch
process, including development and execution of
go-to-market
plans and internal organizational readiness. This requires the ability to
effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally
with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives
portraying knowledge and confidence
·
Work with internal stakeholders to execute
plans while developing best practices to facilitate high-quality product
releases.
·
Apply the Product Launch Fram! ework to all
launches. This includes inputs, timelines and key deliverables from multiple
functional groups within the organization. You must be able to motivate
others to perform at maximum efficiency without sacrificing quality of the
services delivered.

Understand agile product development
methodologies and partner with Product Managers and development teams to
identify business impacts.
·
Coordinate regular launch team meetings,
publishing notes and action items to team members.
·
Work closely with peers, management and
colleagues from other departments within Kroll Ontrack.
·
Increase awareness and enthusiastically
champion product during launch process.
·
Proactively manage project risks and take
advantage of opportunities to minimize negative impacts.
·
Participate in project retrospectives and
create recommendations report in order to ide! ntify successful and unsuccessful
launch elements.

! Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of
education and work experience.
·
2-3 years’ experience of experience in the areas of development,
business analysis, or quality assurance and 1-3 years of project management
experience.
·
Proficient in Microsoft software applications, MS Project and
conferencing systems
·
Knowledge of PM Methodology, tools, and techniques
·
Knowledge of the software development lifecycles and
methodologies.
·
Experience interviewing business partners and other stakeholders
to gather and document launch requirements.
·
Knowledge of the concepts, principles, management and processing
of electronically stored information (ESI) as they relate to legal matters is
preferred
·
Proficiency in Kroll Ontrack’s applications and their use via
the internet, as well as the backend operational systems and! workflows which
support the use of these applications is a plus
