Legal Analyst Legal Assistant

Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota

Description: Minnesota State Colleges & Universities is at present recruited Legal Analyst Legal Assistant right now, this vacancy will be presented in Minnesota. Detailed specification about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. This position exists to:
Provide legal assistance such as preparing legal contracts, responding to client questions about basic contract ! and filing issues, preparing procurement forms and guidelines, and assisting attorneys with drafting legal documents.

Collect information from clients for use by attorneys, perform other law-related support duties, and investigate facts as requested.

Coordinate conference calls, meetings, and conference arrangements, registration, speaker arrangements, etc.

Assist with developing and performing contract and procurement training including Webinar presentations.

Coordinate the creation and delivery of online resources and tools.

Maintain documents/data/confidential files containing collective bargaining and other labor relations information such as strike plans, settlement negotiations, investigations, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Degree or Equivalent in Paralegal Studies or Business

2 Years Law-Related or Business Management Experience

Knowledge of State policies, procedures, transac! tions and documents and state administration and finance laws ! and regulations

Knowledge of legal process sufficient to draft legal documents, contracts and procurement forms

Knowledge of investigative techniques sufficient to conduct investigations and prepare documentation for review by the General Counsel

Knowledge of data practices regulations sufficient to appropriately process requests for information

Ability to analyze contract terms, identify potential contract/compliance issues and evaluate and propose contract term changes

Ability to draft amendments and addenda for contracts and other legal documentsAbility to design, develop, and/or deliver training that engages learners and achieves learning objectives

Ability to use desktop publishing software to update web pages ensuring data accessibility practices are used

Preferred Qualifications:
Legal Assistant or Paralegal Experience

Work Experience in Government or Public Sector

Work Experi! ence in Government or Public Contract Administration

Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies or Business
