Maintain a high efficiency and professional image in our metro showroom operations.
This position is ! Monday - Friday, and can range from 36 - 40 hours per week.
This person is responsible for our Bloomington, Edina, Lakeville and Rochester locations. Including our Lakeville rental units. Other locations may be assigned as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (other duties may be assigned.)
Travel to showro! oms with the use of personal vehicle. Mileage will be reimburs! ed.
Paint touch-up and repair of damaged walls and vignettes.
Carpet Repair, Replacement, and Stain Removal as needed.
Minor Electrical and Plumbing Repair.
Light carpentry work as needed.
HVAC (RTU's) Preventative Maintenance and Repair
1. Filter Changes
2. Belt replacment as needed
3. Grease bearings, fans and motors as needed
4. Clean Coils once a year or as needed (weather related)
Roof inspections and minor repair as needed, including after major rain or snow storms.
Landscaping duties including checking for weeds in lawn, curb and parking lot as well as sprinkler system
Parking lot lights
Overall inspection of building and side walks, checking for raised or sunken concrete and pot holes in parking lot
Inspect Trash Enclosures
Check Impulse, maintenance software, for work orders and monthly scheduled maintenance.
Complete inside and outside daily ! walk through check list of showroom/pick-up center for overall cleanliness and other maintenance including;
- Outside Grounds
- Glass on Windows and Doors
- Outside lighting in parking lot, signs and building wall packs
- Inside lighting in track lights, fluorescent lamps and warm lights only
- Cookie Shop
- Bathrooms
- Employee Lunchroom
- Bull Pen carpet
- Showroom carpet for snags, stains and overall cleanliness
- Loading dock area
- Electrical room, checking that area is not blocked and cleanliness
- Mechanical room
- Stairwell
- Inspections of Fire Stairwells and Storage areas as needed
Bloomington: Mondays
Edina: Tuesdays
South Metro pickup center: As needed
Lakeville: Wednesdays-Thursdays
Woodbury: Fridays
Fargo-Eau Claire: three times per year
Lakeville rental: A! s needed
Rochester: As needed
It is required that t! his individual checks in with the location manager or supervisor. At the end of the shift, a manager or supervisor must sign off on daily work log sheet.
Adheres to safe lifting techniques, follows proper training for learned job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participates in departmental stretching program, and overall maintains a safe working environment.
Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities
Language Skills
Requires skills to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Possess skills to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Education and/or Experience
Must have or be currently working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and three months or more related experience and/or training.
Mathematical Skills
Mathema! tical aptitude to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

(standard & metric), set of 6 screwdrivers (4 standard, 2 phillips),
stubby phillips screwdriver, Stanley utility knife, wood chisel set
(three piece), small shortcut hand saw, painting supplies (roller and
extension handle).
