At Jurisin Legal Staffing, we are looking for well qualified and experienced Intellectual Property LAAs to join our staff. We are currently seeking an Intellectual Property LAA to work for our client, a nationally recognized litigation law firm in downtown Minneapolis.
Preparation of patent prosecution and other legal documents
Responsibility for electronic filings on patent, trademark and copyright matters
Review of post docket system to meet deadlines and follow-up on important filings, court dates, correspondence and other IP matters needing attention
Process client bills, expense reports and timesheets
Communication on behalf of attorneys, including reviewing incoming mail and preparing correspondence, answering the telephone and directing callers and scheduling meetings and travel
Multi-tasking is critical, as is attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting requests
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
Minimum of 5 ye! ars recent patent support experience
Familiarity and profi! ciency with USPTO website and other websites used for trademark and patent searches
An understanding of patent, trademark and copyrights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
