Responsibilities
The Senior Negotiator, Contracts is responsible for negotiating, drafting, and closi! ng a wide variety of complex contracts
The Senior Negotiat! or will work across business units to ensure that executed contracts:
completely and accurately reflect the intent of the parties
are consistent with Ceridian’s business practices, policies and goals
clearly and concisely articulate the rights and obligations of the parties in order to minimize potential disputes
address issues so as to minimize Ceridian's exposure to risk
The Senior Negotiator will draw upon strong knowledge of contract structure and interpretation, as well as problem solving skills, to assist to the business in achieving its financial and performance goals and objectives
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
This position requires interfacing with all levels of the sales organization, finance, management, corporate attorneys, as well as attorneys and management for clients/prospective clients
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in finance, contracts or! legal concentrations
4+ years in contract negotiation with experience negotiating a variety of contracts is required
This individual must have strong technical proficiency with contract management software, excellent oral and written communication skills and the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy and proficiency
The Senior Negotiator position requires the ability to work with little day-to-day supervision, and the ability to track and monitor deal progression in order to promote efficiency and accountability
