Job Overview:
Assist in management of worldwide Intellectual Property portfolio for all Cantel companies and assist in management of worldwide contract database.
Responsibilities:
Work with all Cantel companies to assist in management of intellectual property by filing new applications--both U.S. and foreign--affidavits, renewals, etc.
Docketing and performing trademark searches.
Monitor company IP for competitors’ marks and technology.
Prepare contracts for worldwide distributors; confidentiality agreements, Powers of Attorney and other documents.
Manage contact life cycles, including execution, extension, renewals and terminations.
Correspond with international offices and sales representatives.
Provide support to out-state legal team.
Qualifications:
College Degree and Paralegal certi! ficate desired
2-3 years experience in trademark pros! ecution
Knowledge of docketing using CPi or similar docketing system
Basic understanding of patent prosecution desirable
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
Ability to build relationships with customers and team
