The Opportunity
We are seeking a Collection Manager with extensive legal collections and team management experience to join our rapidly expanding internal legal global operations team. The selected candidate will manage the internal legal US call center operation teams with presence in Saint Cloud, MN and San Diego, CA. The suitable candidate will have the option of being based in either site.
Primary responsibilities include :
In collaboration with attorneys and the internal legal management, subject matter expertise in legal collections will be used to create and implement consumer contact strategies that coincide with litigation and post-judgment execution activities
Oversee and optimize daily call center operations and collections performance
Supervision and development of managers and collectors in the US internal legal call center group across multiple sites
Set vision and drive culture in accordance with our customer bill of rights
Managing performance to monthly collection targets and incentive programs to ensure the optimum net results for the business
Work with analyst teams to analyze call center metrics and implement strategy changes to improve results
Preferred skills, education, and experience :
Bachelor’s Degree required
6+ years operations leadership experience
Experience in a collaborative organization partnering in strategy development and strong prioritization skills
Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to tailor communication from the front line to the executive level
Effective decision making and delegations skills and
Strong team building skills and ability to gain cooperation and to motivate others
