Position/Summary Overview:To manage and administer assigned claim programs to include the hiring, training and supervision of the Property and Casualty claim staffs.Main Responsibilities:• Assign and manage claims on behalf of clients.• Provide supervision, technical support and direction to claim personnel.• Loss reporting to regulatory agencies, reinsurers, excess carriers and clients.• Significant experience handling tougher premises liability claims such as sexual abuse, molestation, and professional liability.• Oversee the investigation and conclusion of claims within client requirements.• Interact, assist and communicate with client personnel, attorneys, claim personnel and internal departments.• Assist in developing and maintaining claim/legal resources to include attorneys, adjusters and various service providers.• Maintain current information with respect to legislation, case law, industry. developments/program developments• Conduct claim audits of adjusters' work product and monitor accuracy of loss data.• Act as administrative liaison with large clients.• Assist in development of service contracts/service pricing.• Assist in marketing/sales functions.• Occasional travel for educational, marketing or other general purposes• Coach and develop staff, motivate team, inspire performance, establish a talent pipeline.• Assure excellence on litigation management, large case strategies, and proper documentation of liability and damages.• Assure SOX compliance.• Will immediately report all harassing or inappropriate behavior to Human Resources.
- College degree or equivalent experience.• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance and legal systems.• Minimum five years claim technical experience.• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.Only qualified applicants will be considered.
