Post by Jobing - ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: This position involves the review and audit of performance of the firm‚s attorneys. Performance Manager is contemplated to spend approximately 25% of their time travelling to firm offices to review physical location and individual performance of the attorneys. The candidate must be sufficiently experienced to understand multiâ€"jurisdictional litigation process at all stages, pre suit, in suit and post judgment. The candidate must be able to determine attorney performance standards and audit to them based on the requirements of each jurisdiction.
Attorney should be familiar with state and federal consumer laws and keep abreast of any changes in state or local rules. Attorney should be sufficiently experienced to handle complex litigation, counterclaims and selfâ€"defend lawsuits brought against the firm or our clients. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Required: * A law degree * Bar admission to the state in which the individual is located * 5 to 7 years of experience as a general litigation attorney in a large practice Preferred: * Experience in creditor‚s rights litigation Regional creditor‚s rights firm seeking experienced litigator with more than 4 years of experience in large multiâ€" jurisdictional practice. Experience in creditor‚s rights or regulatory law preferable though not required and Nevada bar licensure is very desirable.
Although an average of 25% travel schedule is contemplated, relocation is not required. We are looking for an energetic individual with strong litigation and communication skills to take a new position as the firm‚s Director of Attorney Performance. This attorney would need to be able to assess required litigation processes in the different states where the firm has offices and determine whether regulatory, client and firm compliance requirements are being met. In addition this attorney would support problematic litigation, counterclaims and regulatory complaints handled by the firm.
