Individual involved in a limited partnership lawsuit seeks to hire an experienced litigation attorney licensed in Minnesota. The dispute is a claim for a portion of the proceeds of a real estate sale. This is a state court case heard in Hennepin County.
The primary activity of the newly engaged lawyer will be to bring a series of motions that hopefully will lead to a dismissal of the case or early settlement. The lawyer to be hired will not be responsible for representing the partnership or its partners.
For compensation, I propose to pay a $10,000 retainer with a fixed price per motion combined with an hourly rate for appearances.
Please provide a resume of your litigation experience. Most important would be to provide copies of motions you have brought. I also need to know your required hourly rate.
