Health & Welfare Compliance Coordinator

We are pleased to offer an exciting career opportunity in a newly created position as a Health & Welfare Compliance Coordinator in our fast-paced HR Department in downtown Minneapolis.
Primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Implementing and maintaining all aspects of employee benefit plan compliance for the firm’! s health and welfare plans
- Developing and administering compliance policies and procedures
- Monitoring Health Care Reform and other legislation
- Completing regulatory filings
- Partnering with the HR team to propose and carry out compliance projects
Necessary qualifications:
- Knowledge of benefit plans and related legislation
- BA/BS in an HR related field with 1-3 years of progressively more responsible work experience, preferably in a professional services environment
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and written communication skills
- Strong project management skills coupled with the ability to think strategically
- Ability to travel as necessary
