Compliance & Licensing Analyst

Location: Minnesota Minnesota

Description: Fairview Health Services is at present recruited Compliance & Licensing Analyst right now, this job will be placed in Minnesota. For complete informations about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Liaison with the Policy and Compliance Officer to support Fairview Pharmacy Services’ compliance and licensing activities. Some of the activities include but are not limited to:

Managing new and renewal pharmacy licensing and registration with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy (BOP) for all Fairview Pharmacy Services (FPS) pharmacies.

Managing out-state new and renewal pharmacy licensing and registration with appropriate licensing agencies for applicable FPS pharmacies.

Coordinating and managing Minnesota BOP variance process for all FPS pharma! cies.

Managing PIC change process for all FPS pharmac! ies when required.

Collecting and maintaining MN BOP pharmacy inspection reports. Review and analyze trends.

Coordinating out-state pharmacist licensure by reciprocity where required for out-state pharmacy licensure

Managing new pharmacy registration and renewal of existing pharmacy registration with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for all FPS pharmacies.

Coordinating Power of Attorney (POA) identification for each pharmacy.

Managing Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS) application and registration process with DEA for any new pharmacist or PIC as necessary.

Coordinating annual DEA “Combat Meth” self-certification to sell products containing pseudoephedrine (PSE) for all appropriate pharmacies.

Supporting the Policy and Compliance Officer in evaluation and development of FDA-mandated Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) program compliance, as required, for all affected FPS pharmacies. !

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (business or healthcare major preferred) and three years experience in healthcare compliance, licensing, corporate operations and/or pharmacy with demonstrated career progression. Preferred candidates will have a Master’s or advanced degree (MHA, MBA or JD) with special focus in healthcare and/or legal and regulatory compliance or be in pursuit of such degree with pharmacy compliance and/or legal experience.
