Judge Healthcare is currently seeking a Senior Sourcing & Procurement Consultant for a well-established Health System in the Minnetonka area.
Job Description:
Collect and or! ganize material needed for each agreement.
Institute and operate negotiation strategies and financial requirements, perform business risk assessment and recommend mitigation plans, conduct negotiations, and ensure contracts reflect the agreement between parties.
Perform review of agreements for business accuracy and legal form.
Provide sound contract oversight to assure business agreements are made and approved in accordance with corporate objectives and policies.
Determine appropriate contracting approach to highly complex commercial contracts, as well as draft, present and negotiate all language within such contracts with appropriate stakeholders and suppliers.
Articulate, defend and present contracting strategies and approaches (of both parties) with business stakeholders and management as necessary to gain support and buy-in on negotiation strategies and efforts.
Construct professionally written executive summaries w! hich articulate, in summary fashion, the initiative, the strat! egy, negotiation highlights, inherent risks and benefits, and financial landscape in light of complex contracting efforts.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge and working understanding of commercial contracting methods.
Develop solutions to complex contracting issues, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation, ensuring solutions are consistent with organization objectives and in-line with corporate contracting guidelines.
Requirements:
Required qualifications include:
Bachelor's Degree
JD Preferred
4+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements across multiple areas of business.
Create and negotiate contracts using proposals, business requirements and other relevant data.
Contract drafting and terminology knowledge that includes solid understanding of subtleties of contact language, risk based language, contracting traps and pitfalls to avoid, do! cument management and control, and legal acuity.
Demonstrated track record of positive impact in all positions held.
Ability to negotiate and communicate complex concepts/business issues verbally and in writing to customers, management and suppliers.
