More complete informations about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. § Manage the filing and renewal of company contractor and other licenses, including maintaining information about company qualifiers and continuing educ! ation requirements; monitor state and local license requirements and company operations to assure any new licenses are promptly obtained when needed
§ Manage and maintain company business registrations, including filing annual renewals; monitor state and local requirements for conducting business in a particular locale and company operations to assure any new business registrations are promptly obtained when needed
§ Under the supervision of the company's labor relations officer, assist in the administration of labor relations, including maintaining a database of company labor agreements and answering basic questions regarding labor agreements
§ Under the supervision of an attorney, research federal, state, and local laws applicable to the company business
§ Assist with the preparation and maintenance of corporate minute books and resolutions; maintain record of officers and other information for company
§ Provide support for litigation, including c! ollecting and reviewing documents, identifying witnesses and t! eam members with relevant knowledge, and managing litigation files
§ Provide support for the review of company contracts, and assist to maintain and identify appropriate uses for company contracts
§ Gather and provide information to support trademark registrations and copyright filings
§ Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Basic
§ Bachelors degree required
§ Paralegal certificate required
§ Must have a minimum of five (5) years related paralegal experience or other relevant legal or business experience
§ Ability to act independently and demonstrate ownership and accountability for matters assigned to role
Preferred
§ Strong communication skills; strong organizational skills
§ Ability to read, understand, and analyze contracts and technical documents
§ Ability to read and comprehend advanced instructions and to prepare short correspondence
§ Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and establish p! riorities
§ Must possess strong command of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
§ Paralegal or other relevant legal or business experience in a construction law practice, or with immigration, labor, and/or employment; IP; and/or real estate matters Additional Details Currency Amount of Travel Minimum Travel
