Seagate is looking for a Contracts Paralegal III to work as part of its in-house legal team, reporting to the Associate General Counsel at our R&D site in Bloomington, MN. The successful candidate will have experience in a contracts paralegal role and will:

Support lawyers/contracts manager in all phases of the contracts process, from the contract request initiation process through the signature, closing and file maintenance processes;

Responsible for managing low risk! low dollar contracts independently, from receipt of request t! hrough execution.

Provide general administrative support for the Associate General Counsel and two Contracts Managers and other staff as assigned (e.g., coordinating meetings, assisting with documents, scanning, etc.).

Acts as information source on contracts policies and procedures.

Develops and/or maintains templates/drafts contracts and related documentation. May develop written procedures, workflow plans or other systems for practice areas as required.

Ensures execution of approved and finalized customer and procurement contracts; including timely and accurate hand-off to other internal partners/stakeholders

Monitors existing contracts using approved methodologies, tools, etc.; includes identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement

Ensures all contract data and information is appropriately and timely entered into relevant systems/databases

Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that gov! ern the conduct of Seagate’s activities

Qualifications

Requirements:
4 â€" 6 years' experience working as a paralegal.

2 or 4 year paralegal degree (Paralegal Certificate preferred).

Proficient in legal research.

Proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, initiative, ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously, and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal skills (necessary for frequent interaction with colleagues in various parts of our global business.)

Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals.

Team player with a great attitude.

Willingness to “roll up sleeves” and get the job done.
