OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
This position is responsible for managing and directing multiple projects focused on proce! ss improvement, system enhancement, and automation of Loan Servicing operations including the overall, initiation, planning, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Will manage a group of Loan Servicing Project Managers. Will interact with groups including IT, management, and other subject matter experts.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Emphasis on directing a portfolio of projects related to Loan Servicing functions and support. Projects are focused on increased automation, process improvement, and system enhancements and range from simple documentation to complex and dynamic redesigns of existing systems and processes.
- Lead a team of project professionals including Project Managers and Business Analysts to execute projects related to the Loan Servicing group in a matrix environment
- Introduce, manage, and maintain consistent project management methodologies! across all Project anagers
- Direct project activities! across the five process groups
- Work directly with the business enterprise to ensure project deliverables meet standards
- Provide scheduled and ad hoc status reports as necessary
- Identify road blocks and help remove or mitigate any negative impact to the project
- Other related tasks
- Active PMP certification
- 5 years project management experience
- 3 years experience managing professional positions
- 3 years experience managing direct reports
- Clear and concise communication in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Ability to work independently under general direction
- Demonstrated knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management and project life cycle
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management techniques, tools, and software
- Demonstrated experience lea! ding projects in matrixed environments
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, change management, and risk management
- Strong process design and implementation experience
- Travel may be required, US domestic
- Competent in negotiation skills, stress management, and conflict management
- Able to delegate work/responsibilities and maintain a strong team environment
- Well-organized with process orientation background
- The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Prior Loan Servicing experience preferred
