Our Mortgage Team: Supports the nation's leading originator and servicer of residential mortgages.

Assists with all aspects of the Default Assignment of Mortgage and related document preparation and execution for delivery to the county for recording or the attorney for bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings.

• Provides direction to team members on a wide range of topics related to the preparation and execution of assignments, but mostly related to how systems need to be updated and maintained and reporting from those systems to support the operation.
• Analyzes business issues and makes recommendations to maximize operational efficiency, quality and compliance. Works under limited supervision to analyze and solve complex operational and/or customer issues.
• May create and maintain management reports, interpreting data and identifying trends for managers.
• Initiates corrective measures to ensure the systems uti! lized in the process of preparing, executing, and shipping documents are accurate and reflect what has happened to the document to the highest extent possible.
• Initiates corrective measures for deficiencies identified during the assignment creation process. Maintain the objective of assigning work to various sites and processing those assignments as accurately and timely as possible with the tools that are available.
• Assists in providing requirements for reporting and technical changes related to the department processes and testing those changes once ready for release.
• Leads meetings related to process improvement, reporting requirements, system updates and changes with team members and management.
• Ensures that data provided to downstream partners through system updates is accurate and timely.
• Works with other Operation Analysts to ensure all tasks are assigned and backups are provided for those tasks.
• Practices strong ! information security behavior in accordance with company and department! policies to ensure the protection of sensitive company and borrower information.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of experience in analysis and/or reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to research, compile, and perform in-depth analysis on critical operational data. Ability to independently provide summary and recommendations on operational data. Possess good troubleshooting, technical, and resolution skills. Ability to multi-task on projects. Has exceptional reporting and analytical skills and a general understanding of operations policies and procedures.

• 5+ years of banking or mortgage industry experience.
• Ability to work in a high volume environment and manage multiple time sensitive responsibilities simultaneously.
• Ability to research, compile, and perform in-depth analysis on critical exceptions.
• Ability to independently provide summary and recommendations on data exceptions.
• ! Possess excellent troubleshooting, technical, and resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated success in working with outside vendors/investors.
• BS/BA Degree in Business or related field.
• A working knowledge of ARROW, LPS Servicing, Image repositories, Excel, Access, Word, Business Objects or other reporting tools.
