Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsible for working with our vendors, attorneys and associate law firms to ensure our invoices are recorded and paid on a timely basis in accordance with th! e FirmÂ's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities :
1. Data entry of billable and firm expense invoices ensuring proper coding and approval levels.
2. Process Travel Expense Reports.
3. Process check run and deposit account charges.
4. Process Attorney & Employee Reimbursement Requests.
6. Reconcile PTO Deposit Account Statement.
7. Bi-monthly vendor check processing and matching of invoices.
8. Ensure accuracy of 1099 information and filing of 1099 forms.
9. Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies with invoices.
11. Miscellaneous accounting tasks as required
12. Responsible for the review and resolution of Expense Reimbursement discrepancies.
13. Maintain complete and accurate records including timely delivery of all reports to be scanned for electronic record keeping purposes.
14. Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to requests from vendors! and co-workers in a timely and professional manner.
! 15. Request and review monthly statements for all outstanding invoices and follow up on any delinquent items.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
• Two years of accounts payable experience desired
• Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite and Accounts Payable systems
• Strong attention to detail and numbers aptitude required.
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
• Ability to work well in a Team setting in order to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys and staff to provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
• Post-secondary education is desirable.
• Regular attendance at work.
