Position is responsible to initiate and drive medium to large/complex Knowledge Building projects or project/business related activities; actively promote cross-fertilization between, within and outside to accelerate innovation; document scientific content of the pipeline and transfer knowledge. Responsibilities include: evaluate scientific information from all available sources (new ingredients, literature) for the purpose of innovation of new medical nutrition products; provide technical expertise for design and implementation of animal and human studies and subsequent translation of the data into the pipeline; identify, engage and collaborate with experts to leverage the best science available; work with patent attorney to analyze patent activities of key competitors.
Advanced degree (preferred research & development); 7+ years experience within business area; knowledge of nutrition science, clinical nutrition, food science, medical science, regulatory.
