LuciData, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, high integrity Director of Sales who is adaptable and innovative, possesses strong organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills, and is a team player that enjoys the challenge of a consultative sales approach within a fast paced service-based environment.

The Ideal Candidate:
College educated and with significant sales management experience, this person needs to be able to relate to senior executives, lawyers and technical experts. They will need a minimum of 5 years business-to-business sales management experience with a proven record of achievement in technical services sales. Legal sales experience is required. This position is located in Minneapolis, MN.

&9632;5 + years of sales management experience successfully selling services or technology related solutions to law firms and corporate legal environments. &9632;Strong management skills &9632;Proven success in recruiting, managing, supervising and retaining sales people. &9632;Proven success in building existing client relationships, penetrating new markets and developing new business. &9632;Intelligent, analytical and creative problem solver. &9632;Ability to work independently, self-motivate, manage time effectively and stay on task at all times. &9632;Strong organizational, listening, interpersonal, presentation skills and strong attention to detail &9632;Ability to put clients' business goals ahead of their own and have a strong work ethic. &9632;Agile enough to work in a fast paced environment but able to understand the needs of our customers, large and small. &9632;Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary &9632;Bachelor's Degree with business or technical focus. &9632;Legal education a plus &9632;Data security knowledge a plus &9632;Strong technical understanding of Computer Forensics, ESI and eDiscovery a plus &9632;Experience with Salesforce.

On Target Earnings:
Total remuneration is a mix of base salary, incentive based commissions/bonuses and participation in employee stock plan.

Position Description Overview:
The Director of Sales reports to the COO and is responsible for developing, implementing and achieving the strategic and annual operating plans of the Sales group. This incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day sales activities, including revenue and sales growth; expense, cost and margin control; and monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management. The incumbent will recruit, train, motivate and manage regional Account Executives in the execution of the agreed upon plans and objectives of the company. The incumbent sets goals, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that Sales objectives and operating requirements are properly interpreted and uniformly enforced throughout the group as well as compliance with all applicable laws and regulation and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization as a whole. The incumbent provides direct analysis and information to COO in all aspects of Client business development, coordinating marketing plans, customer satisfaction levels and employee growth and satisfaction. May provide staff support to CEO and COO, and can represent LuciData as spokesperson at important functions.

DUTIES

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
&9632;Responsible for the overall performance of the company's Sales operations and ensures that annual objectives and sales targets are achieved. &9632;Works with executive management in developing and producing new business development and product plans. &9632;Recruits, hires, manages and supervises sales personnel capable of achieving company's overall goals and objectives. &9632;Train, evaluate and mentor sales staff on how to sell eDiscovery services including team selling on large opportunities and group presentations. &9632;Develop strategic account plans for targeted major accounts &9632;Develop weekly sales forecasts and pipeline management in Salesforce.com &9632;With the COO, establishes territories, performance goals and competitive compensation for all levels of Sales employees. &9632;Contribute significantly to the ongoing development, documentation, and education of a successful Account Executive Training Program. &9632;Collaborate with Marketing on events, product launches and market feedback.Assist COO and other executive management in developing marketing and advertising collateral/campaigns, execution, and implementation. &9632;Expense approvals for Sales group &9632;Implement, and manage customer satisfaction and quality programs to continually improve customer service performance and satisfaction. &9632;Assist COO in fostering and maintaining relationships with lucrative eDiscovery partners and vendors. &9632;Ensures clarity, understanding and commitment from all sales employees. &9632;Enforce policies, procedures, purposes and goals of the organization for subordinates &9632;Ensures that the Sales organization is appropriate to support current operations and to meet planned growth objectives or necessary downsizing. &9632;Responsible for subordinate employees' performance reviews. &9632;Ensures that contractual and other commitments are kept, and that the Sales group complies with approved policies, procedures and ethical standards as well as all applicable laws and regulations. &9632;Responsible for preparing the Sales group for ongoing change. &9632;Perform other related duties as assigned. Such duties do not normally change the level of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated Skills Required:
&9632;Demonstrated leadership roles in previous positions desirable. &9632;Demonstrated successful execution of business strategies for company products and services. &9632;Previous team management and supervision. &9632;Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies. &9632;Excellent public presentation and interaction skills. &9632;Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills. &9632;Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning.

Required Experience:
&9632;5+ years of Sales Management experience &9632;At least 5+ years eDiscovery experience and 5+ years' experience in software sales &9632;Successfully worked with C-Level executives, Attorneys, Litigation Support &9632;Robust knowledge of the eDiscovery Market &9632;Consistently ranked as top performer in prior sales management &9632;Proven ability and success closing deals and moving a company strategy forward to meet sales objectives. &9632;Demonstrated ability to sell software solutions across multiple groups in an organization. &9632;Effective Sales Forecasting and pipeline management &9632;Extensive experience recruiting, hiring and on boarding new employees &9632;Demonstrated success developing relationships and selling to Fortune 2000 Legal Departments and Government agencies &9632;Independent, entrepreneurial, and results-focused &9632;Strong leadership skills, excellent communicator and time management skills &9632;BA or BS required
