Job Description:
PricewaterhouseCoopers is nationally recognized for its in-depth tax technical knowledge and tax process improvement skill sets. Our Tax Reporting and Process Improvement team fe! atures multi-disciplined staff including: accountants, attorneys, econo! mists and technologists from a variety of backgrounds, including corporate tax professionals, tax professionals from law firms, technology professionals and tax advisors from the Firm's practice offices. PwCs Tax Reporting and Process Improvement (TRPI) practice is dedicated to helping companies assess the complexities of delivering value and managing risk in their corporate tax functions through the improvement of people, process and technology Team members serve as business advisors to clients by leveraging a standard methodology to deliver sustainable tax performance improvement and tax accounting services. We assist clients in transforming their tax processes from analysis to implementation.
PwC's tax technology group within TRPI assists clients with numerous technology challenges, including technology strategy, ERP tax integration, decision management and tax application implementation. Our Decision Management professionals review/analyze how to improve effici! ency around the tax data life cycle, standardize tax data collection, identify opportunities for automation when extracting and collecting tax data and enable more efficient ways to generate tax reports that support better tax planning and forecasting.

Demonstrates thorough knowledge of, proven and success in a role performing, tax-related business and data analytics including a proven record of success both as an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs.
Demonstrates proven considerable knowledge of, and success in a role consulting with clients, including the following:
- Active participation in client discussions and meetings, communicating a broad range of firm services and client-related project phases, i.e. strategy and requirements through implementation
- Definition of tax-related data management requirements, especiall! y as it relates to tax provisions and compliance, i.e. translating and ! documenting needs, assessing data, and implementing appropriate data solutions
- Data warehousing principles and methodologies
Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates proven thorough skills with, and success in consultant roles involving, corporate tax department collaborations and tax-related data management projects, including leveraging tax-related and other business technology applications to produce deliverables (i.e. OneSource, CorpTax, and Microsoft Office Suite and Project).
Demonstrates proven thorough skills and success in roles identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; and, managing engagements, including preparing concise, accurate document! s and maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues.
Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and success as a team leader: creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations, providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner, keeping leadership informed of progress and issues, and answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff.
Demonstrates proven thorough ability and success utilizing written and verbal business communication skills, including interacting with clients and firm staff and/or management within a professional business services environment.
