Position Summary:
The Project Manager will be accountable for leading both smal! l and large projects, including the planning, coordination, decision analysis and client/employee experience of opening up all new sites. This position will work on all levels of project management, ranging from strategy development (in partnership with organizational leaders) to execution and implementation to follow-up and measurement.
Responsibilities:
Lead and Coordinate the opening of new sites as part of TEPâs overall growth projects. Work with all functional areas to ensure successful openings (on time, on budget and exceed staff and client expectations)
Attend weekly Operations meetings and lead expansion meetings. Schedule additional offline meetings as needed. Follow up on action items identified at those meetings and in between.
Attend weekly contractor meetings and follow up on action items
Create project timelines (to do lists) for expansion projects and coordinate with internal teams (facilities, IT, communicati! on, operations, HR, marketing) as well as outside vendors (i.e! . architects, attorneys, interior designers, builder) regarding completion of action items.
Track and report progress on project phases and schedules
Organize/oversee move-ins for new/expanded sites
Coordinate and help identify outside vendors as needed, i.e. create RFPs for movers
Coordinate communication internally and externally around moves/expansion projects
Purchase furnishings, equipment and accessories
Paperwork, i.e. move liability insurance
Close out projects with a âlessons learnedâ report
Coordinate with facilities, IT, scheduling, etc., around set up of new offices, furniture moves and needs
Annual walk-through of each facility and office to identify items needing to be replaced, updated (carpets, furniture)
Create a franchising model for TEP based on expansion coordination experiences (in conjunction with all involved functional areas and vendors)
Qualific! ations:
Proven history of leading or managing project development
Extreme diligence and track record of managing all levels of detail of a project
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to projects
Driven to follow-through in a timely and proactive manner
