The trust administrator is responsible for managing and meeting client expectations through the proper administration of trusts, estates, IRAs and agency accounts with a service and relationship orientation. The trust adminstrator is also responsible for retention and expansion of existing accounts and the development of new trust business along with the promotion of trust services.
DUTIES
Client Satisfaction: Effective delivery of administrative and investment services:
Advising clients concerning the design and administration of the! ir trust, IRA or agency relationship.
Establishing client ! calling plans, including routine administrative, operational and investment review meetings, as well as event invitations and entertainment within guidelines as established by management.
Responsible for the routine administration of assigned accounts:
Makes recommendations concerning matters on pricing, operations, and overall relationship enhancement opportunities.
Develops relationships with other service providers of the client such as attorneys, advisors, consultants, and other financial services providers to accomplish the service goals and objectives of the client.
Client Service Quality Control - Compliance and risk management oversight
Self Development
Continuing education through seminars, conferences and related training (both trust and investment specific and general trust industry knowledge) to promote skill growth and development and to maintain certifications.
Revenue Generation: Retention and expansion o! f existing accounts and development of new business and the promotion of trust services
Special Projects: Participation and/or coordination of designing, implementing and training on projects as requested. Specific responsibilities unique to an officer are identified separately.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or other Business Domain
5 - 7 Years Administrative Experience in Personal Trust or Industry Related Field
Advanced interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, integrity, written and oral communication/presentation skills.
The ability to work in a team environment alongside highly credentialed staff.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook), required.
Preferred Requirements:
Certification as JD, CPA and/or CTFA
Background in the management of trusts, estates and agency accounts with a broad scope of experience in ! account administration, investment management and financial markets, fi! duciary law and compliance, tax and estate planning and personal financial planning.
