PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Provide legal support services in a variety of areas for the legal team. Provide project management and maintenance of legal documents, projects, and correspondence to ensure timely and accurat! e client service.

OUTCOMES:
Assist the General Counsel and estate planning department with the processing, editing, and reviewing of trust, estate, investment and legal documents in a fast paced legal environment requiring a high level of accuracy.
Provide project management to keep projects on track and files organized.
Conduct research and provide analysis to the attorneys to facilitate estate planning needs of clients.
Partner with others to coordinate efforts and act as a team player, filling in where needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the preparation of investment-related documents for both offices; process amendments and revisions; prepare trustee agreement letters, wills, estate planning letters; work with other departments as needed.
Coordinate, facilitate, and assist with probate and non-probate estate administration.
Prepare deliverables to be used in conjunction with client! estate planning meetings, including summarizing client estate! planning documents and preparing illustrations of client estate plans.
Process detailed edits to complex transaction documents with extreme accuracy and prepare executive level reports and presentations. Generate, revise, redline, and proofread documents, presentations and correspondence.
Research and provide analysis of estate planning and other legal matters as needed to facilitate estate planning.
Coordinate activities through effective communication with clients, employees, and external professional service providers; draft letters and memos; forward correspondence.
Create and organize files and documents following established procedures to ensure prompt retrieval of such information; documents include but are not limited to trusts, wills, powers of attorney, trustee approval letters, trustee resignations, and appointments and acceptances.
Provide backup administrative support as needed.
Complete department projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree or paralegal certification required.
Minimum 5 years related experience in a professional and fast paced office environment, preferably in a legal, financial, wealth management or professional services office.
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe skill! s required.
Familiarity with legal terminology preferred.
Estate administration experience helpful but not required.
