Description: Perrigo Company is currently seeking to employ Temporary Part-Time Marketing Assistant right now, this position will be ordered in Minnesota. Marketing:This position will provide administrative assistance to support Marketing Manager (MM), Product Managers (PMs), Tradeshow Specialist (TSS) and Senior Director Sales & Marketing Operations (SDSMO) and backup support to Marketing Communications Specialist as needed. This person will be required to handle some confidential information in an effective and appropriate manner. Responsibilities: Marketing:Perform administrative duties to support MM, PMs, TSS, and SDSMO such as typing, faxing, mailing, emailing, meeting arrangements, etc. and provide backup support to the Marketing Communications Specialist.Prepare and distribute SDSMO staff meeting and Marketing staff meeting notes.Assist Marketing Dept. and SDSMO with meeting arrangements by arranging for meeting room, equipment, food notification, as required.Maintain SWAP Forecast database.Maintain all Marketing SharePoint sites with timely and accurate updates as required.Assist PM with coordination and implementation of direct mail (DM) promotions and subsequent required follow-up and/or fulfillment from DM response.

Research and purchase (under PM direction) DM lists. Coordinate internally and/or with outside vendors and fulfillment houses. Maintain mailing databases. Monitor DM program response rates and prepare reports to Marketing Management.

Act as liaison between fulfillment houses and MM regarding contract renewals. Review all DM invoices and recommend for approval by PMsManage both DM and BRC permit accounts to ensure monies are available to cover postage needsAssist MM and PMs with updating New Products Estimated Launch Date schedule, product assignments, product marketing lists, quarterly marketplace reports, forecasting template, etc.Assist with running monthly products IMS Rx, Sales and Channel information and special projects as requested.Quarterly Price Rx updates to BD SharePoint site with dollars, units, AWP and WAC pricing.Review (monthly) Marketing Department expenditures report for accuracy of invoices position monitors. Inform MM of any discrepancies, report to Finance for correction, and review corrections on following month report.Responsible for monitoring product literature inventories and notifying PMs of low stock levels. Physical inventory to be completed two times per year: December and June.

Responsible for keeping the Literature Room orderly and for removal of obsolete materials (with MM & PM approvals).Assist Marketing Communications Specialist in keeping the department warehouse space and literature room space orderly and for removal of obsolete items (with MM/PM approvals).Maintain Press Release database for press announcements. Forward press releases, often via e-mail and including electronic photos and keep record of those sent and howAssist with coordinating annual PDR (Physician Desk Reference) ad placements, and Redbook orders. Assist with media program journal insertion orders, track, verify code and approve invoices. Also research media options and contact journals to assist with media planning for PMs.Maintain publications binder and assistant “how to” training documents.Maintain (with PMs) binder and database on product trade name registrations.

Post product trade name status on SharePoint site to help ensure product trade names are being written properly. Maintain internal tickler file for trade name registration renewals and coordinate renewal process with PMs, MM, and trade name attorney.Review and distribute Webmaster e-mails daily, each a.m. Answer e-mail to Webmaster when required. Act as point person to complete paperwork to order Paddock products as requested by Marketing staff and responsible for orderliness and security of Rx product cabinet.Assist Tradeshow Specialist position with tradeshow booth handling, post-show two day turnaround, and other tradeshow support, as needed.Assist with proofing/photographing/designing/revising promotional collateral pieces created in-house; sell sheets, brochures, newsletters, photographs and emails, etc.National Acocunts:Perform administrative support (typing, mailing, faxing, etc.) for the National Accounts Director and team members.Utilize SAP, Excel and Powerpoint for preparation and maintenance of monthly sales reports and spreadsheets. Reports include: targeted product units and dollar sales; targeted chain sales by product; targeted chain products purchased and price; wholesaler sales by product; wholesaler targeted product stocking; wholesaler source program sales; chain and wholesale rebate tracking.Coordinate the administration of new product and price increase trade letters, weekly back order reports, NWDA standard new products forms and customized product brochures.Coordinate the administration of new product and price increase trade letters, weekly backorder reports, HDMA standard new products forms and customized product brochures.Communicate new product announcements and price changes and maintain files on: First Data Bank (FDB), Medispan and Red Book.

Maintain FDB price point Rx.Maintain lists of the key trade contact’s mailing and email addresses and Fax numbers.Manage payment of rebates to chains and wholesalers with the Sales & Marketing Contract Administrator.Assist in the preparation of presentations for sales meeting and new product introductionsAssist in the maintenance of the wholesales and chain chargeback membership lists.Assist in the preparation of trade shows for the National Accounts Department.Required Skills Marketing:Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or related field OR High School diploma or GED and minimum of 3 years related experienceProficiency using a variety of computer applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; SharePoint, MAC ability in Quark-Xpress and graphics programs such as Illustrator and PhotoShop preferredStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability establishing priorities, and ability to meet deadlinesNational Accounts:High school diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years administrative support experience, preferably in SalesProficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) and other databasesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAttention to detail
